Joe Hill Ranks 2017 Version Of “IT” As One Of The Five Scariest Films Ever Made!

Are you ready for IT?

September 8th is not that far away so it’ll be here before you know it. And if you weren’t already excited enough, here’s a little something to get you even more pumped for the return of Pennywise.

Joe Hill, author and son of Stephen King, recently partook in a Q & A session and began talking about the upcoming Hulu adaptation of his graphic novel series LOCKE & KEY. Originally, Scott Derrickson was supposed to helm the pilot, but now it looks like Andres Muschietti will direct. And Hill approves. He got an early look at Muschietti’s new version of IT and calls it one of the five scariest movies ever made, right behind JAWS, THE EXORCIST, John Carpenter’s THE THING and LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. Pretty darned good company!
