That’s right! Our friends Cliff MacMillan and Jeff Nelson from Scream Factory have joined us yet again on the Shock Waves podcast. They were frequent guests back in our original incarnation as Killer POV, and they kicked off Shock Waves by being our first guests way back on episode 2. Now, 50 episodes later, they’re back to celebrate their 5th anniversary with us!
We’re embedded the episode below, which also includes our reviews of ALIEN: COVENANT and the new episodes of TWIN PEAKS, but as usual, the Scream Factory gang gave us a lot of insight into the changes in the home video market since their launch, their upcoming collectible steelbook line, and much, much more, including 4 new title announcements arriving in September!
What’s fun about these 4 films is each one is from a different decade, so one is from the 60’s, the 70’s, the 80’s and finally the 90’s. It showcases the diversity of their slate! Here’s what’s coming!
A QUIET PLACE IN THE COUNTRY (1968) A popular painter, plagued by nightmares that he and his lover/sales agent are engaging in bizarre, ritualistic, sadistic sexual acts, seeks to escape the city and rent a house in the country.
THE SPELL (TV Movie 1977) A teenaged girl, taunted by her schoolmates because she’s overweight, uses her supernatural powers to take revenge.
AFTER MIDNIGHT (1989) Horror anthology about a college professor teaching a course called “The Psychology of Fear”.
THE RESURRECTED (1991) Charles Dexter Ward’s wife enlists the help of a private detective to find out what her husband is up to in a remote cabin owned by his family for centuries.
There you have it!
