One of the most widespread urban legends that I’ve heard my entire adult life is that of “Crybaby Bridge.” Nearly every state in the Midwest — from Oklahoma to Illinois — has its own version of the Crybaby Bridge legend, often revolving around a chilling tale of suicide and child sacrifice. But the one that I’ve always known is at Olathe Lake in Overland Park, Kansas.
