If you’re of a certain age, then you certainly remember the FRIDAY THE 13TH Nintendo game. And no doubt, you probably had a love/hate relationship with it. So it’s all the more surprising that it’s had such a huge resurgence and cult fan base spring up in the last few years. I’ll admit, I was one of those nerds in line at the Neca table a few Comic Cons back waiting to buy the action figure. And I even have MP3’s of the music because… well, I don’t need to explain. It’s rad music!
Anyways, just when I thought we’d seen and merchandised every aspect of this blasted video game, here comes something too fun not to share. Our resident toy expert here on Blumhouse.com John Squires posted about this faux trailer for FRIDAY THE 13TH THE GAME THE MOVIE over on iHorror. The trailer has got that shot-on-video look, is dated 1989 and captures some of the more odd lunacies the game forced upon us players when it initially came out.
It’s just perfect and comes courtesy of Mega64, who put the video together for this past Halloween. You can check out their You Tube page, their Facebook and Twitter. But in the meantime, check out their trailer below!
