First Annual FOUR STATE SLASHER CON is Coming Soon!

An explosive celebration of extreme horror, music and more will be taking over Virginia this month, with an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, tons of horror-themed bands, incredibly twisted films, and plenty more scary (and sexy) surprises. There are lots of horror conventions worldwide this time of year, but this one is the first of its kind – and it looks damn awesome – so we thought it deserved a little more attention. Check out what they’ve got lined up!


Here’s the film schedule (titles & times subject to change):

Friday 10/16:
3:30 pm – THE CHUNKBLOW (short) followed by MUTANTIS
7:30 pm – EASTER SUNDAY (World Premiere), followed by Q&A with Director Jeremy Todd, Producer/Star Jason Delgado and more

Saturday 10/17:
12:00 pm – Short Films Block
2:00 pm – ZOMBIE CROC
4:00 pm – ZOMBONER
7:00 pm – RADIOACTIVE FLESH-EATING FOLIAGE (premiere), followed by Q&A with cast & crew
9:00 pm – EASTER SUNDAY (second showing), followed by Q&A with cast & crew

Celebrity guests include LOST BOYS co-stars Jamison Newlander, Brooke McCarter and Billy Wirth; HUMAN CENTIPEDE’s Ashley C. Williams, Akihiro Kitamura and Ashlynn Yennie; CREEPSHOW 2 alumni Daniel Beer, Tom Wright and Dan Kamin; THE CROW’S Rochelle Davis, MANIAC COP’s Laurene Landon; SLEEPAWAY CAMP’s Jonathan Tiersten (who will also give a musical performance on Friday); EVIL DEAD 2’s Danny Hicks; and Timothy Quill from ARMY OF DARKNESS.

Malevolent Magazine’s Amy Humphries will be presenting several Scream Queen appearances, including Jessica Felice, Genoveva Rossi, Mel Heflin and Jenny Jannetty. Also appearing will be Faye Guerra, hostess of Psycho Cinema, actress/ghost-hunter Eliza Jayne, and “Queen of the Paranormal” Kadrolsha Ona.


Music guests Gerard McMahon, a.k.a. G Tom Mac (pictured above, who will perform the legendary “Cry Little Sister” from LOST BOYS), Misfits alumnus Michale Graves, Darrow Chemical Company, Pain!, The Graveyard Boulevard, Nightmare Sonata, Writing Off Tomorrow, and NFDY. Live entertainment will also include performances from Honeybee Burlesque and Coffinbox Sideshow Spectacular.
