The 13th Floor

Check Out the Full Lineup for Shriekfest 2015!

The time is nigh, horror film fans in the Los Angeles area (or anyone dedicated enough to brave the trek out to SoCal)! The 15th Annual Shriekfest Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival is up and running with a roster of all-new independent features, shorts and more from around the world. The fest will be held once again at Raleigh Studios Chaplin Theatres, beginning today and running through October 4th.

This year’s feature film lineup includes the following…

6:15 (World Premiere): An emotionally damaged couple tries to survive a viral outbreak on an isolated farm in “the world’s first one-shot POV zombie thriller.”

ALL I NEED: The paths of a desperate man and an imprisoned young woman cross unexpectedly in the den of a mysterious killer.

CHATTER (West Coast Premiere): While monitoring Internet traffic for the Department of Homeland Security, Agent Martin Takagi comes across the intimate video chats of a couple, temporarily living in different parts of the world, who begin to discover their new home is haunted. Starring Richard Hatch (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA).

CLINGER (West Coast Premiere): When her possessive high school boyfriend dies in a gruesome accident, Fern Petersen’s life is thrown into turmoil. Things go from bad to worse when he returns as a love-sick ghost to kill her so they can be together for eternity.

GRANNY OF THE DEAD (World Premiere): This action-packed gore fest follows Ed (Marcus Carroll), who awakes one morning to find that his Gran has become one of the living dead. Executive produced by the director of SHARKNADO.

HUNTING (World Premiere): When a lonely girl discovers the “treasures” of Los Angeles, she embarks on an awakening journey that ends up bringing her face to face with a murderous nightmare.

INTERIOR (West Coast Premiere): When a mysterious letter is found hidden inside a family’s new home, Sam, a struggling filmmaker, is hired to capture evidence of the supernatural events plaguing their young daughter. What starts as a simple paranormal investigation leads to one long, terrifying night. Isolated and alone with a dark force identified as Emily, Sam and his cameras are taken on a digital journey through the unknown and beyond.

LAND MINE GOES CLICK (L.A. Premiere): Three American tourists are backpacking through the remote countryside of European Georgia when one of them gets trapped on an armed landmine. But that seems to be a minor threat compared to the nightmarish happenings the rest of the afternoon will bring on. A psychopath takes advantage of the tourist’s immobility and brutally assaults the woman he loves.

THE ANSWER (North American Premiere): After being attacked, an introverted young man must follow clues left by his dead parents in order to figure out who is after him – and who he really is.

THE DIVINE TRAGEDIES (West Coast Premiere): Two brothers fulfill their murderous fantasies, but doing so derails their relationship with horrifying results. Featuring horror icons Barbara Crampton (RE-ANIMATOR), Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD) and Lynn Lowry (THE CRAZIES).
