Remixed Version of John Carpenter’s LOST THEMES Coming!

I don’t know about all of you out there, but I’ve just about worn out my vinyl copy of John Carpenter’s album “Lost Themes,” which dropped earlier this year from Sacred Bones Records. And while I still haven’t grown tired of the music in the slightest, this morning’s news is most welcome. Sacred Bones has announced a new John Carpenter vinyl release, this time “Lost Themes Remixed.” Eight contemporary artists reinterpret and remix the various tracks from Carpenter’s debut solo album, including Zola Jesus, Silent Servant, Skinny Puppy and more.

At the moment, there are 3 different vinyl editions you can buy directly from Sacred Bones. A standard LP edition, a limited blue & clear swirl edition, as well as a deluxe edition, also blue & white. Over in the UK on the Transmission website (the physical record store from Death Waltz own Spencer Hickman and Kimberly Holladay) is offering a limited “red and clear swirl” edition. Below you’ll find the full track listing, as well as a sample track from Sacred Bones Soundcloud!
